World’s Longest Train

To celebrate Switzerland’s first railroad, it built a train with 100 cars weighing 2,990 tons.

Leave it to the Swiss to accomplish whatever objective they want to pursue.

The train in the photo above is all one train.

We often use the phrase, “as good as a fine swiss watch.

We visited Switzerland once many years ago.

We visited a violin factory. The precision craftsmanship was amazing.

We rode up a mountain on a cogwheel train.

While on the train, we could look down at small villages with just a few homes in each.

The thing in common were perfectly stacked logs behind every home.

Don’t ever underestimate the Swiss!
