A young boy sits on a park bench at night and plays his accordion knowing death may be just around the corner.
There is a street light on behind him, but recent missile strikes by the Russians have severely reduced electric power in the nations capital.
Yet, he is out there in the darkness bringing his music so that there is some feeling of normality.
I hope his family members are still alive so that he has someone to come home to.
In his own simple way, he is among the millions of Ukraine’s heroes who bring their talents to the fight.
I am in awe of this little boy’s courage.
I hope he will live long enough to tell his grandchildren about the night he played his accordion in the town square while people were being killed all around him.
May God Protect him as he plays!
