A gossip is a person who habitually reveals personal information about another.
The information usually portrays another negatively.
When people discover that someone is a gossip, a trust is broken.
A relationship has no future when there is no trust.
If you can’t say something positive, it’s best to say nothing at all.
Sometimes it is very difficult to keep a “secret” to yourself.
You want to spread it around as the source of news to others.
In other words, it is hard to be trustworthy.
Are there negative things about you that others know?
How would you like them to be shared with your community or at work?
Always put yourself in another’s shoes. Treat others as you wish to be treated.
In other words, keep private confidences private for your sake and for the sake of others.
Do you want to be known as a “Gossip” or a trustworthy friend?
If not today, when?
