We know that, eventually, caterpillars turn into butterflys.
It is a tough life until that grand transformation takes place, however.
One hot summer evening, my wife and I were walking on our hot cement patio.
She nnoticed a caterpillar slowly coming toward us.
It appeared that it was heading toward a cool flower bed with an umbrella of shade trees.
It had a long way to go across the hot pavement.
So, my wife sprang into action, scooped up the caterpillar and put it down in the cool flower bed.
Actuallly, she has been scooping up kids throughout her life.
Thank God for scoopers!
