I think by now we all know some of the facts being reported.
We happen to know people who HAD a home in Pacific Palisades.
They actually emailed a video of their house burning down.
Now as they take stock of their future, they don’t see much that is positive.
All of their life and their plans have been put on hold realistically for years.
Where to go, what to do, what do we have to replace right now, what school will our children go to?
So many unanswered questions and today so few answers.
Neighbors and shopkeepers have been dispursed. Will we ever see them again.
Underlying all, we are the LUCKY ONES. Our family and our pets have survived.
We must live each day as it comes and trust that somehow we will get through this.
