The first book he wrote as Pope, is “The Name Of God Is Mercy!”
The Pope felt that the centrality of our lives MUST BE MERCY.
He believed we should live with a driving force and that force is called MERCY!
He stated that MERCY is not waiting for someone to knock on your door.
MERCY is going out into the streets to find them!
When he was younger Francis used to go out at night alone and knock on the doors of the poor to visit them.
When we live that kind of life, we follow Jesus.
The important concept of faith is not what services we go to or how much money we give,
it is how we care for the needs of others.
