About Compassion!

4 Reasons how helping people helps me in return - Chintan Jain

A society cannot reach its full potential without compassion!

And how do you conduct yourself?

Are you only concerned about yourself and your loved ones?

When some people see someone who needs help, they look the other way.

They don’t want to get involved.

On February 9, 2021, a national survey revealed that 36% of American adults reported seriousness loneliness.

Are you surprised?

Would it move you enough to do something about it where you live?

So, are you compassionate?

Are you a good example for your children?

Will your children become compassionate or selfish adults?

No society can reach its full potential without compassion!

Don’t look the other way.

Not today. Not ever!

New SPACE BEAM Revolutionizes Flashlights!

They took the regular flashlight, that we’ve seen go without much of a change for over 100 years, get turned on its heels.

It’s unlike anything else people have ever seen. For starters, it offers an unrivalled field of light — 230° — for bright, wide-ranging illumination in any situation.

Which means no more one-directional beam of light.

The Space Beam lights up everything in front, and on the sides, of your vision.

So not only does it not stick out, knock into things, or send a cone of light into the distance, but it also lights up near your feet and to your side. (CNN)

It also frees up your hands because it fits on your head.

We all have situations when we need to “light up the darkness!”

About COURAGE!

Life and death of Prime Minister Winston Churchill

“Courage is rightly esteemed as the first of human qualities because:

“It is the quality which guarantees all others!” (Winston Churchill)

He fought in the Boer War in South Africa, was captured and escaped.

Churchill was First Lord of The Admiralty (Navy) during WWI.

He was fired from that position and then decided he would go fight in the trenches in France.

Although he was afraid England would be invaded by Germany in WWII, as Prime Minister, he persuaded the British people to hold fast.

I believe fear is a necessary ingredient of COURAGE!

I also believe you cannot enjoy a full life without overcoming your fears!

YOU MUST GO OUT AND DO WHAT YOU’RE AFRAID OF!

Do You Arrive On Time?

Silhouette of man running with briefcase Stock Photos - Page 1 : Masterfile

Are you habitually late?

Have you thought about the impression you make on those who made the effort to arrive early or on time?

Why are you late?

Do you misjudge how long it will take you to arrive at your destination?

Do you sleep in too late?

Do you forget what time you are supposed to be there?

Do you plan the drive time required to make your appointment?

Habitual lateness is a character flaw that you can correct if you want to be on time from now on.

The decision is in your hands.

All your relationships will be improved if you arrive on time.

Give Of Yourself This Holiday Season!

30 Unbelievably Awesome Christmas Card Photo Ideas for 2022

I’m not talking about gifts.

There are so many gifts of yourself that warm the hearts of loved ones and friends.

One of the greatest is the gift of time, your time.

In this fast paced world, we often don’t have quality time to enter into a meaningful dialogue.

Taking the time for a phone call is much better than firing off a text or email.

How about a personal note in your handwriting that expresses your unwavering affection for the other person?

How about showing up at their door with a bouquet of red poinsettias?

Remember, the greatest gift is YOU!

Trump Calls For Termination of The Constitution!

Does the U.S. Constitution Guarantee A Right To Life?

Former President Donald Trump called for the termination of the Constitution to overturn the 2020 election and reinstate him to power Saturday in a continuation of his election denialism and pushing of fringe conspiracy theories.

“Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?

“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump wrote in a post on the social network Truth Social.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates said Saturday that Trump’s remarks are “anathema to the soul of our nation, and should be universally condemned.” (CNN)

We Americans believe in FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

Let’s hope we can continue to enjoy all the freedoms guaranteed by the CONSTITUTION!

60% Of College Students are Women!

College Search - Christopher Newport University - CNU | College search, Hampton roads, College campus

It’s been this way for a number of years.

The irony is that women continue to be paid less than men.

There is the UNCONTROLLED gender gap: Women are paid 82% of men’s pay.

The uncontrolled gender gap is a reflection of the various types of jobs open to women.

The CONTROLLED gender gap: Women are paid 99% of men’s pay.

The controlled gender gap is “equal pay for equal work.”

The percentage of women attending college is on the increase including those with child rearing responsibilities.

While the percentage of men attending college is falling.

The increase of female college attendance is encouraging.

The drop off in male college attendance is disconcerting.

Demise of a migrant worker!

The funeral for Rakesh Kumar Yadav, a 40-year-old Nepali who died three months after arriving in Dubai to work as a security guard.

The funeral pyre is ready for 40 year old Rakesh Kumar Yadav.

In a poor country like Nepal, hundreds of thousands of poor workers go abroad to find work.

Mr. Yadav died shortly after arriving in Dubai before he could send a paycheck home.

He leaves a widow with two sons to raise. (New York Times)

Many of the thousands, who go abroad for work, die on the job.

This was true in building the World Cup soccer stadium in Qatar.

Those, who are farmers in Nepal, are losing their crops because of flooding caused by climate change.

These are just more examples of the abject poverty and helplessness experienced by the poor around the world.

There are the poor living in your town who don’t have enough to eat.

Will you do something to lighten their load?

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powered Airplane?

Airbus has announced it is developing a hydrogen-powered fuel cell engine — and that it plans to test it on the largest commercial airplane ever to take to the skies.

The French aviation giant revealed at Airbus Summit 2022 on November 30 that it will mount the engine between the wings and the tail of a modified A380 superjumbo. Test flights are estimated for 2026, as part of the Airbus ZEROe initiative to launch a zero-emission aircraft by 2035.

“In terms of aerodynamics, the A380 is a very stable aircraft. So the pod attached to the rear fuselage via the stub doesn’t pose much of an issue,” said Mathias Andriamisaina, head of ZEROe demonstrators and tests at Airbus, in a statement. (CNN)

Think of all the airplanes that are in the air while burning fossil fuel.

I hope this innovative concept is duplicated by all companies that manufacturer vehicles of all kinds.
