Are You Easily Swayed by Others?

I’m always in favor of seeking advice on important issues before putting a new decision into effect.

You, however, must live your life and respond to your wants and needs which may be quite different from the wants and needs of your advisor(s).

None of us like to displease friends and family, but we must also be true to ourselves!

What is your vision for your future? Allow yourself to make decisions that may temporarily displease others, but will keep you on the right path to your future

Are You Happy?

Two basic factors affect our chances for happiness. They are circumstances beyond our control and the decisions we make.

Probably the most influential circumstance in our lives is the family situation we were born into. Our childhood years, either helpful or harmful, affect our view of ourselves  all our lives.

Advice: Acknowledge those negative aspects of your childhood that may be holding you back from becoming the fulfilled person you deserve to be and seek assistance.

Many people are lousy decision makers! Their present state of unhappiness is usually the direct result of an accumulation of bad decisions.

Advice: Don’t make snap decisions that may have bad long term consequences. Take the time to weigh the pros and cons of an upcoming decision before moving forward.

You deserve to be happy!

Your Impact on a Spouse’s Self Esteem!

adults affection embrace feelings

I believe we have an overwhelming impact on the self esteem of those people who are closest to us. Hopefully, your spouse is the closest person to you.

Do you have a habit of criticizing or complementing your spouse?

Because of the emotional power of your relationship, you do heavily impact the maintenance or deterioration of your partner’s self worth. Self esteem or the lack thereof affects behavior in many ways, some subtle and some obvious.

One of the most wonderful things you’ll ever be for your loved one is an enthusiastic cheer leader!

Are you willing to treat your spouse in a positive, not negative manner?

Having a bad day?

How do you define a “bad day” in your life?

This inner city child may have a different definition of a “bad day.”

Wherever you live, there are poor kids having a “bad day.”

They awake each morning with the following worries:

Will I have enough to eat today and will I be safe from violence?

What can you do to help one poor child in your area?
