Living With Regrets?

5 Tips for Worrying Less About What Other People Think of You - LiveWellFlow

We all have them as part of our past.

Broken relationships!

Missed business opportunities!

Words you can’t take back!

A pattern of bad decisions!

Whatever the regrets may be, we just can’t seem to relegate them to the past and move on.

And yet, that is precisely what we must do.

Past regrets weigh you down.

They don’t permit you to make the most of today and all your tomorrows.

The ANSWER IS FORGIVENESS!

You must FORGIVE yourself and acknowledge that you are human and we all make mistakes.

I saw one of my loved ones suffer from a past regret from her twenties that bothered her until her death at age 91.

Don’t do that.

Set yourself free!

Healthy or Unhealthy Habits?

This is not a pleasant topic, but it is necessary.

Un unhealthy body cannot deliver the results of a healthy body.

Sometimes, we have so many issues to address that our physical well being is low on our list of priorities.

And we can’t let that happen!

Stress, as an example affects many parts of the body.

A healthy body can tolerate stress better than un unhealthy one.

Regular doctor and dental checkups are ways to prevent hidden problems.

Again and again, we hear of the absolute necessity of regular exercise.

But, do we exercise regularly?

Two other health issues are alcohol consumption and maintenance of a healthy weight.

You are the only person in control of your health.

Take charge!

Have A “Daily Victory” Today!

It makes for a more fulfilling life if you dedicate yourself to “A Daily Victory!”

Before you retire for the night, be sure to do something that can qualify as an accomplishment.

You may be having a bad day otherwise, but a ‘Daily Victory” lifts you up and reminds you that at least one thing went right today.

A “Daily Victory” is a form of self management.

Don’t awake each morning wondering what’s going to happen today.

Awake each morning knowing you are going to make something happen.

And that something will be a “Daily Victory” no matter how small!

God Bless The Peacemaker!

Russia is using a supersonic missile that travels at 10 times the speed of sound.

They are being used against apartment buildings in Ukraine.

Because of their tremendous speed, they are incapable of being shot down.

Mankind has always been ingenious at creating devices that hurt people.

I wish we were as dedicated at creating ways of helping people.

The human condition is stricken with disease, hunger, poverty, loneliness and prejudice.

Can you help someone stricken with any of the above conditions?

“Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.”

Why is it vital that you, as the parent, take the time to have a private chat with each of your children?

I think you know the answer: He or she may admit things to you or share concerns that they wouldn’t in front of their piers.

That’s why one-on-one time is so necessary.

Each child may be dealing with their own unique issues.

Especially issues that arise at school!

These issues could include bullying, drugs, social media or joining the wrong group.

Unfortunately, you have issues you are trying to solve as an adult and don’t always realize your kids have troubles that they may be unable to handle.

Parents must realize your own childhood was much different that the childhood your kids are living through.

Sit down with each child.

Turn off the cellphones and listen.

We’re talking past each other.

That’s because all of us are guilty of being inattentive listeners.

And I’m surely guilty too.

How often has your spouse told you, “You’re not listening to me.”

Many of our problems with all kinds of relationships can be traced back to poor listening habits.

While the other person is talking, we’re thinking of our rebuttal.

Luckily, this is one problem that can be fixed.

All your relationships will improve with better listening.

Also, look the other person in the eye while they are talking.

With good eye contact, you’ll learn even more.

Spouse Is #1!

Your spouse promised to spend the rest of his or her life loving you.

That love includes standing by you in all pleasant and unpleasant circumstances.

It’s the most incredible promise a person can make in their entire lifetime.

Inherent in the marital promise is TRUST.

This mutual TRUST in each other should NEVER be violated.

So, if you can’t keep the TRUST, don’t make the promise!

Marital TRUST doesn’t just happen. It’s earned.

One important rule for a happy marriage is, don’t bring up the past.

Wake up each morning determined to make the new day one of love for your lifelong partner!

Are You A Bright Light?

Do you lift people up or drag them down?

That’s a question we must all ask ourselves from time to time.

Our world is creating much stress and anxiety.

There are and always will be troublesome situations in which someone will have to step up and help others out of the darkness.

Are you that person?

If your answer is “yes,” thank you.

If your answer is “no,” please think about becoming a “bright light” for loved ones, friends and co-workers.

It may not be easy for you, but it is necessary.

Every journey begins with the first step.

Take that first step!

IT Service Management Best Practices That Drive Business Value – BMC Software | Blogs

Thousands of men and women in Ukraine are dying everyday to protect their democracy.

Yesterday, we watched all our senators and congressmen on their feet applauding the president of Ukraine who is risking his life every day to prevent a dictator from destroying his democracy.

The irony is that some of these same senators and congressmen are questioning the need for our democracy.

Yes, democracies have flaws.

We often elect imperfect people to lead us.

Still, the Constitution of the United States is one of the most brilliant documents ever conceived!

If our three branches of the federal government will adhere to the Constitution when making decisions, we’ll be here another 200 years.

God bless Ukraine!

God bless The United States of America!
