Stay Warm Outside Tips!

Check Temperature and wind chill before going out.

If driving, make sure the gas tank is at least half full.

Don’t exercise outside alone.

Wear several layers of clothing, which trap air and provide better insulation.

Keep your head, ears, nose, and forehead covered to prevent heat loss and frostbite.

Mittens are warmer than gloves because they keep fingers together.

Wet clothing removes body heat rapidly.

Cover all skin to avoid frostbite, which turns skin white and numb.

Fiber Is Replacing Protein!

New York —

Move over, protein. Fiber is on pace to be the next “it” nutrient of the year.

Consumers — particularly Gen Z — are fixated on stomach health, leading to the “fibermaxxing” trend taking hold on TikTok.

As people try to maximize the fiber in their meals, major food companies are capitalizing on the trend with new, fiber-focused products.

“There is a consumer need in terms of digestion and gut health.

And that’s something we’ve seen the last few years,” said Sherry Frey, health and wellness thought leader at NIQ.

The younger generation, she added, understands that digestive health is linked to better skin and improved cognitive function. (CNN)

Don’t Imitate Others. Take Your Own Path!

In order to be confident, you gotta be YOU.

If you are copying someone else, you won’t be genuine.

And people will notice that.

Why would you want to imitate another person??

Is it because you’re not creative?

Or, could it be that you aren’t confident enough to do it your way?

I really believe you will have the perseverance necessary to succeed if you inject YOU into it!

If not today, when?

Are You An Optimist, Pessimist Or Realist?

Most people only compare an optimist with a pessimist.

I believe there is a third category, however, that must be considered.

A realist is a person who accepts a situation and is prepared to deal with it w/o a predisposition.

Deals with facts in a straightforward, objective way knowing there may be positive or negative outcomes.

A realist stays connected to reality.

I think it can be helpful in your decision-making if you take into account .your natural tendency.

The Story Of The Wedding Guest!

The Parable of the wedding guest. Luke 14:7-14

The guests are advised to take the lowest seat so the host will call them to a higher, more honorable place.

The lesson is that humility leads to exultation while self-promotion leads to public shame.

In modern times, the male ego is the culprit.

Be careful of how people perceive you.

Perception is more powerful than fact!
