Deep inside Earth is a solid metal ball that rotates independently of our spinning planet, like a top whirling around inside a bigger top, shrouded in mystery.

This inner core has intrigued researchers since its discovery by Danish seismologist Inge Lehmann in 1936.

Is rotation, speed and direction — have been at the center of a decades-long debate.

A growing body of evidence suggests the core’s spin has changed dramatically in recent years, but scientists have remained divided over what exactly is happening — and what it means.

One promising model proposed in 2023 described an inner core that in the past had spun faster than Earth itself, but was now spinning slower.

Then it slowed even more, until the core was moving BACKWARD relative to the fluid layers around it.

Painted lady butterflies venture far and wide with their impressive migratory patterns that stretch for thousands of miles — but they often travel across land, so they can stop to rest.

Scientists have now found evidence that a group of the winged travelers flew over 2,600 miles (about 4,200 kilometers) across the Atlantic Ocean without stopping.

This is according to a new study published June 25 in the journal Nature Communications.

The finding ends a decade-long mystery that began when entomologist and lead study author Dr. Gerard Talavera came across around 10 painted lady butterflies.

He found them on a beach in French Guiana in October 2013.

The insects, which are not usually found in South America, were worn out with holes and tears in their wings. (CNN)

Maybe your ideal job requires further schooling.

People go back to school all the time to position themselves for that dream job.

Human beings are usually quite self-centered.

This habit can possibly cause us to over-react to adverse events or to re-think decisions now lost.

The constant thinking of yourself is frankly an inhibitor to personal growth and possibly too much of a hindrance to a potential social life.

Let go and live!

Everything is really not about you.

If something is a direct challenge to your wellbeing, of course you must act.

But, there is a lot to be said about the benefits of spontaneity!

Opportunities may be missed if you overthink them.

Don’t do that!

Your dreams don’t have to be dreams your whole life.

No, don’t be a dreamer! Be a doer!

You can make dreams come true.

Is there something you really want to DO?

If so, lay out the steps you must take to do it.

This technique is called CLARITY OF TASK.

Having a goal is not enough.

Goals are accomplished only by clarifying the steps necessary to get there!

Is there something you want to BECOME?

Have you identified THE WHY? THE HOW? THE WHEN?

Our world is in a state of flux.

And many people are becoming what they have always wanted to be.

Why not you?

Is there someplace you want to SEE?

Most of us have places we want to see.

This goal is the easiest to do.

Go for it!
