I think some of us can safely assume that our loved ones know that we love them.
How often do you say “I love you” to your spouse, siblings, children, parents, grandparents or grandchildren? It is a very good idea to say the actual words from time to time.
This is especially true when a loved one is going through a tough time that may cause self doubt to creep in. The gesture of reminding people they are loved should always be a priority in your life.
We have all heard stories of a loved one who dies suddenly and of a survivor who regrets that the recently departed might not have known how much he or she was loved.
Remember to say, “I love you.”
If not today, when?
