One day I was calling on a homeowner selling her house herself.

She said Realtors want a commission, but don’t give back to the community.

My wife suggested that I should publish a monthly newsletter that let local homeowners run ads of things they wanted to sell or services their childen offered like cutting grass.

By differentiating myself from others Realtors, I was successfully sought out for my services.

If you are in sales, how can you differentiate yourself?

I think we take too much for granted.

Have you, as an example, thanked your spouse for all the kindness that comes your way?

The irony is that we thank a perfect stranger for holding a door open for us.

But, we we don’t thank our spouse enough for a lifetime of dedication.

Saying thanks to family members help build the best habits in the home.

And how about co-workers who are struggling just like you are?

Don’t make a promise if you don’t intend to keep it.
